This morning, the world football governing authority released the latest batch of tickets for matches at this year’s World Cup.

Tickets were available for all matches except the opening match, semi-finals, final match and two games in Manaus. Tickets for these events had already been snapped up.

Whilst many expressed frustration with the online queuing they had to endure only to be disappointed, many were left delighted after managing to land tickets for the illustrious event.

FIFA will run one final sales phase shortly before the World Cup when tickets will again be available on a first come first served basis.
