Spurs midfielder Sandro has been revealing his excitement ahead of Tottenham Hotspur’s trip to west London this evening to face Chelsea in the Premier League.
The Brazilian will celebrate 100 games for the north London club if he features at Stamford Bridge and speaking to SpursTV he explained his enthusiasm ahead of London derbies.
“I am very happy. I think we are going to do a great job over there and we are going to win this game. 100th game for Spurs, it is brilliant,” Sandro said.
“It is always a tough game against Chelsea. It is a happy day when you play against them because you are going to know it will be a brilliant game.
“A lot of goals and beautiful football and tackles, I like it.”
Sandro should also come up against several countryman and former team mate Oscar tonight and he believes he will pull off a surprise for them.
He added: “Yes I know them very well and we talk about this game and Tottenham will do a surprise for them.”
A few seasons ago ‘the Beast’ scored a 30-yard stunner at Stamford Bridge and he is hoping to repeat that today.
“I will try again. Yeah why not?” Sandro proclaimed.
“It is an important game, Chelsea are starting to play good now. Great players over there. Chelsea are number one up the table and we love to play against good teams.
“We love to play against Chelsea, Arsenal like London derbies. I feel very happy when I go to play against strong players.”
