Internazionle head coach Walter Mazzarri has admitted he is unsure whether star midfielder Hernanes will be fit to start the weekend Serie A clash with Roma.
On Saturday Roma and Inter face off and when Mazzarri spoke with the media today he reaved the situation with the Brazilian.
Football Italia quoted the Nerazzurri boss, he said: “He plays through the pain.
“But if he gets tired through it, it will end with him not training well with the squad.
“We have sent him home to rest so we can see whether he will be ready for Roma.”
Despite the 28-year-old feeling discomfort, Mazzarri is certain he will play at the weekend he is just unsure of how long Hernanes will last at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I will see whether I can start him or bring him off the bench later,” revealed the Inter coach.
“Hopefully he can resolve this problem and train well during the week.”
It is no surprise to see Inter rushing the winter signing back quickly as in his two matches since joining from Lazio he has impressed.
