Inter Milan’s January signing Hernanes has revealed his frustrating at having to miss his team’s weekend Serie A fixture against Cagliari due to injury.

The Brazilian signed from rivals Lazio in a big money move to try and add some impetus to Nerazzurri faltering season.

He was Inter’s star performer in his debut match against Sassuolo earning the crucial assist in their 1-0 win and impressed again in their 2-1 away sucess at Fiorentina.

He took to his facebook page after he watched his saw only manage a 1-1 draw at the weekend. Football Italia quoted the 28-year-old who said: “One of the most horrible things for me is having to miss a game through injury.

“I feel defeated. I still haven’t learned how to live it, it’s agonising!

“But I have learned one thing. If a problem doesn’t kill me, it makes me even stronger.”

Manager Walter Mazzarri will hope to get the excellent Brazilian back soon and try to push Inter closer to the elusive Champions League place.

Napoli currently occupy 3rd place and are ten points ahead of the Nerazzurri but Hernanes and co will do their upmost to catch the Naples side before the season is out.
