Paulinho scored again for Tottenham Hotspur as they secured another vital win in the fight for a Champions League place in the 2014/15 season.

The Brazilian bagged the crucial second goal during his sides 4-0 away win over Newcastle to keep Spurs on the coat tales of Liverpool in the race for a top four finish.

His performance was excellent as Tottenham battled wind and rain at St James Park to cruise to three points, and he made more key passes than anybody else on the pitch too.

Paulinho’s goal comes less than two weeks after he found the net to earn Tottenham a point against Hull City and continues his exceptional form since returning to the team from injury.

The Brazilian was named in Luiz Felipe Scolari’s squad for their friendly fixture against South Africa in March on Tuesday and he’ll hope his good form continues.

The 25-year-old’s strike at Newcastle and was his sixth goal for Spurs since joing in the summer. The £17 million pound man wil hope to add many more before the season is up.
