New Roma signing Rafael Tolói admits its “an honour” to join the Serie A giants.
The defender, who arrived on loan from São Paulo in the final days of the transfer window, also insists he’s settled quickly at the capital club.
“To have arrived at Roma is an honour and a pleasure,” he said, as reported by Football Italia.
“I am realising a dream. I hope to be available for selection as soon as possible.
“This is a club of great traditions, every Brazilian player dreams of playing for a big European club.
“I have always worked very hard and now my big chance has come.
“I have had a very nice welcome, not just from the Brazilians. I have only been here for a short time but I can already see it is a close knit group that is very strong.
“I already feel very comfortable here.”
Tolói is expected to be amongst the substitutes for Roma’s Derby della Capitale clash with Lazio on Sunday.
