New Valencia CF recruit Vinicius Araujo has spoken of his delight at joining the Spanish club after his January move from Brazilian champions Cruzeiro.
With a winners’ medal in his pocket, the 20 year-old is ready to make his mark in Europe and told lancenet.com: “It’s a dream turning into reality. When I had the opportunity, I did not have to think twice.”
I hope to help Valencia win titles and I will work hard. The level of football here is very high and I am very happy to be here.”
With three goals in five games for Brazil’s under-20 side and a further seven in 16 appearances for Cruzeiro in 2013, Araujo has certainly shown early signs of promise in his quest to be successful in Europe.
