Lazio President Claudio Lotito insists Hernanes is not for sale.
Reports yesterday suggested Internazionale had bid €17 million for the Brazil international.
Lotito, however, denies receiving such an offer and is adamant that it will take more than that to prize Hernanes away from the Biancocelesti.
“They can buy his left foot for that,” he told Mediasat. “We are talking about a player who is not for sale.
“Hernanes is a great player and a great talent, so therefore Lazio do not have him on the market.
“We are not looking for buyers, but if any offers do arrive then we will evaluate them at that moment.”
Hernanes joined Lazio for €11.1 million from São Paulo in August 2010. This season he has made 23 appearances, scoring four goals.
