The striker that played in the Libertadores for Olimpia has become Botafogo’s latest signing.
On Friday Botafogo signed yet another player that will bolster their squad ahead of this year’s Libertadores campaign. The Argentine centre-forward, Juan Carlos ‘the tank’ Ferreyra, has signed a contract until the end of the year.
30-years-old and 1,91m tall, Ferreyra will have a medical on either Sunday or Monday before joining up with his new teammates at their pre-season training camp in Saquarema.
‘The tank’ will receive approximately R$60m, significantly less than Botafogo’s star players.
