Toronto FC have denied reports of a move for Internacional striker Diego Forlan this summer.
The Uruguay forward was linked to the MLS side with reports suggesting that a deal was close to completion.
But Internacional and the player have both denied the reports and now Toronto have added their response to the mix.
A Canadian Press reporter spoke to the MLS outfit and received a reply of “nothing to report” on Tuesday.
This was further elaborared on in a tweet by Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl, who added to the denial by claiming that no deal has been made.
