Seleção’s coach Carlos Alberto Parreira convened this Thursday 22 players for the match of next 4 September against Chile, on behalf of the eliminating heats of the next World cup. The called athletes will also dispute a friendly match on September 6 against FC Sevilla for the centenary of the Spanish club.
The technical commission decided to maintain the group present in Croatia. The striker of Wednesday’s meeting, Ricardinho, was only convened for the match against Chile in Brasilia. His substitute will be announced next Monday. Ronaldinho and Roque Junior will miss the two games. The two players are suspended after having bailed out of three consecutive yellow cards. FC Barcelona’s number 10 should however replace Ricardinho for the FC Sevilla’s centenary meeting.
