Milan are ready to offer 12 million Euros for Vasco’s high rated defender Dedé, according to reports from Italian Sky Sport.

The Italian source also claims that Chelsea are offering 10 million Euros for the centreback.

Vasco’s new manager Paulo Autuori has already admitted that Dedé is leaving the club in the next transfer window, as the club are in financial difficulties.

Dedé is deemed Thiago Silva’s successor in Italian press, and is widely regarded ast he best centreback playing in Brazil.

He has been in Milan’s shortlist since last year, when Paris Saint-Germain signed Thiago Silva.

Sky Sport also mentions that a Milan emissary talked with Vasco on March 10, and watched the Brazilian club face their rivals Botafogo for the Rio de Janeiro State Championship.

Dedé was originally called up for Brazil’s recent friendlies against Italy and Russia, but had to be removed from the squad due to an injury.

He is expected to be included in the squad that will face Bolivia on Saturday.
