Fluminense’s 19-year old forward Pablo Dyego da Silva Rosa, better known as Pablo Dyego, has been loaned to Swedish club Djurgårdens IF until the end of the 2014 season.

The clubs have an agreement to swap players, know how and to internationalize their brands. Pablo Dyego is the first Flu player loaned to the Swedish club as part of that deal.

Djurgårdens IF’s manager Magnus Pehrsson recently visited Fluminense’s training ground in Xerém, Duque de Caxias to learn more about the development of players at the Rio de Janeiro-based club.

Fluminense expect that Pablo Dyego gains valuable experience playing for Djurgårdens’ first team, so that he can be part of Flu’s first team once he returns from Sweden.

There is a long tradition of young Brazilian players moving to Sweden, including the likes of Paulinho Guará and Afonso Alves, who left Atlético Mineiro to play for Örgryte in the early 2000s.

The current Brazilian champions have also sealed similar agreements with Spanish club Espanyol and Polish club Legia Warsaw.
