Real Madrid director Miguel Pardeza was delighted at Kaká’s performance against Deportivo La Coruna and has described the playmaker as crucial for their remaining games.

Speaking to Realmadrid.com after the game, Pardeza was keen to praise the Seleção star’s performance but also highlight his potential impact as the season wears on.

“Kaká has played a very good game and I am happy for him because he’s working well,” the 48-year-old Spaniard said.

“All the players are important in the long and demanding season we have. We hope it stays that way.

“We are ready and will face our games seriously. I am convinced that the team will face all encounters with great integrity and professionalism.”

Kaká, who has now scored only three times in his limited outings for los Blancos so far this season, also appeared upbeat about his role at the club.

“I’m getting better and I think things are improving,” the 30-year-old stated. “I’m happy to help the team. If the coach needs me I’ll be there.”
