Santos forward Neymar has once more dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Europe this year, following reports in Spanish newspaper AS suggesting he will join Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich this summer.

Neymar, 20, who was attending a ceremony for a planned Sports Complex in Praia Grande did not avoid media questions on the matter, but was quick to reject the speculation.

Paying tribute to the former Barcelona coach, Neymar once more politely reaffirmed his desire to remain at Santos for the time being.

“He [Guardiola] is a great coach—one of the best in the world. I would like to work with him, the same as with other great coaches," Neymar told reporters. “But, I will repeat my “record": I want to continue with Santos. I am happy here."

Heavily linked with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City, Neymar has no shortage of willing European suitors. The young star, though, has a contract with Santos until June 2014 and has always insisted he will see out his deal with the club.

Santos, for their part, are still hopeful of retaining his services past the scheduled expiration of his current contract with the club and hope to begin talks with the player soon.
