Paris Saint-Germain forward Nenê would prefer to accept Santos’ offer and return to his former club, according to the Brazilian’s agent.
The 31-year-old, who is out of contract in June, has spoken of his desire to leave the Parc des Princes and return to his homeland, where he has a number of offers.
There has been reported interest from Brazilian sides Corinthians, Botafogo and Flamengo, however, Santos look to be leading the way, despite having two previous contracts rejected by Nenê.
Gilvan Costa, his agent, said: “There is a link with Santos and Nenê prefers them. He will make a decision quickly, with a deadline in 5 days.
“Santos’ last offer was good but we continue to analyse all the time.”
Nenê, who scored in PSG’s 5-1 friendly win over Lekhwiya on Wednesday, made 22 appearances and scored eight goals for the Vila Belmiro outfit during the 2002-2003 season.
