São Paulo announce new three-year kit deal with Penalty

The club, who were previously supplied by Reebok, will receive more than R$35 million-a-year (€13 million) from the new arrangement, which will debut on January 19 when São Paulo take on Mirassol in the Paulista state championships.
“Penalty have an important history alongside São Paulo, lasting nearly two decades. Together we have enjoyed glorious moments such as the double Libertadores success of 1992 and 1993,” Roberto Estefano, president of Penalty, told the club's official website.
His comments were echoed by São Paulo director Julio Casares, who added: “We welcome the arrival of Penalty—a great Brazilian company who excel in quality and advanced technology. They have already worked with us and helped us build our status in the international arena.”
The company have made a commitment to “innovate technologically” and supply the club with “modern designs”, as well as assisting in marketing strategy.
