AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato is “100 per cent fit” according to his agent but has been left out of Massimiliano Allegri’s side to face Reggina due to an injury.

The Brazilian striker has barely featured for the Rossoneri over the last year due to a series of muscular injuries and is out of the squad for this evening’s Coppa Italia tie.

“We are waiting for Pato to recover from his injury,” said Coach Massimiliano Allegri in his press conference yesterday.

However, Pato’s agent, Gilmar Veloz, has a very different view of the situation and claims his client can start for Milan.

Veloz said: “Pato is 100 per cent fit and can start for Milan.

“He has no intention of asking for a transfer. If anything, the club will have to evaluate offers.”

This evening’s San Siro game with Serie B side Reggina, to set up a quarter-final clash with Juventus, is scheduled to kick-off at 20:00 BST.
