Robinho’s agent has revealed that the AC Milan forward will not be returning to Brazil after Santos had a reported €6million bid rejected by the Rossoneri.

The Brazilian club confirmed yesterday they had made a written proposal to Milan and hinted there was an agreement with their former player.

However, it was reported today that the Peixe’s €6million bid was too low as the Serie A giants have set the striker’s price-tag at €10m.

“Every day the media invents new destinations, but Robinho has a contract with Milan until 2014 and he intends to respect it,” his agent and father told Lancenet.

He is happy at Milan and for now will not return to Brazil.”

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri also commented on the speculation surrounding Robinho’s departure from the club.

Allegri said: “It is normal that Robinho would have admirers.

“It is evidence of his good performances, but he will remain an important player for Milan for the second half of the season.”
