Real Madrid are set to offload Brazilian outcast Kaká in the January transfer window according to reports in Spain.

Marca reports that Real are looking for suitable clubs for the playmaker, with MLS side New York Red Bulls rumoured to be interested.

The midfielder has fallen out of favour with head coach Jose Mourinho this season, relegated to substitute appearances despite a successful return to the Seleção.

Mourinho is reported to want to see the back of the Brazilian, despite the player’s protests that he is happy at Real.

Kaká has only played eight games this season and his season sank to a new low as he was left in the stands against Rayo Alcoyano, a second division side despite not having played in three games.

The Seleção star is known to favour a move to the MLS, but has not ruled out a return to his native Brazil.
