Fluminense coach Abel Braga denied that he is in talks with Internacional and insisted he is staying at the club for the forseeable future.

The coach told reporters: “I did not want to talk to them when they came looking for me, because I wanted to focus on the championship. Now that we have won it, I will sort out my future.

“There was a proposal from Internacional, but I know they will remember my name when a coach leaves because I have a history at the club. But I haven’t spoken to any other clubs.”

The coach also revealed that he has plans for reinforcing the squad: “We are going to have a parade, then the game in midweek, then we have to increase our squad.”

Braga guided Fluminense to their fourth ever title and supporters are demanding that the popular manager stays at the helm for another season.
