Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has praised the club’s new-look attacking midfield duo of Eden Hazard and Oscar, who have helped the club soar to the summit of the Premier League.

Oscar, 21, joined Chelsea along with Hazard this summer, and the double-act have quickly struck-up a familiarity with Spaniards Fernando Torres and Juan Mata.

With a four-pronged attacking unit in place, and the talents of Ramires and John Obi Mkel lying behind, Cech believes that the Blues are a fearsome opponent this season.

“You can see that the players who are in our attack have all got used to each other,” he told Isport.cz.

“They are good attuned to each other even if they play together for the first time. Eden is great with his technique and with Oscar they are a dangerous duo.

“Moreover, the Brazilian and Spanish style of football is similar, so even Fernando Torres is used to it. That is why, even if there are a lot of new players, they have found the common language on the pitch.”
