Brazil legend Zico has praised Chelsea starlet Oscar and hailed him as a ‘revelation’ after his impressive start to life in England.
Zico told Globoesporte: “Oscar is one of the revelations of the current state of Brazilian football. It was better for him to go out than Neymar.
“Neymar is already stabilized here. Going to Europe it would not change too much. Oscar can change a lot. He has a different kind of football. Hopefully that goes well, will not come with baggage too big.
“He has great quality, field of vision, great passing, very good technique. Will gain momentum, velocity.”
The Iraq coach believes Oscar needed go abroad in order to improve his game:
“He was sometimes absent. He will have to participate in Chelsea all game. Inter was in 10, 15 minutes without touching the ball.”
Oscar is expected to feature in tonight’s game against Iraq which kicks off at 7.30pm UK time.
