Mário Fernandes joins CSKA Moscow

Mário Fernandes has completed his move from Grêmio to CSKA Moscow.

The 21-year-old right-back, who was recently linked with Real Madrid, has joined the Russian club on a five-year deal for a reported fee of €15 million.

''I'm happy with this new challenge in my career and I hope I win a lot of things here,’’ Fernandes told reporters. ''I know it's a big club with excellent facilities and one that is always fighting for titles.

''I am very grateful to Grêmio, for everything they have done for me. The club will be in my heart for the rest of my life.''
