Palmeiras want ex-Cruzeiro star WagnerWagner was a popular figure in his Cruzeiro days
"He is a good player who will be considered. He is one of the names that is on our agenda. There is a chance," Palmeiras Vice President Roberto Frizzo told Lancenet!
"Every transaction is 50/50, it works or it doesn't. The finance department has given us hope of positive outcomes; we must have a stronger team with athletes of a better standard."
Tadic, the former-Vasco goalkeeper and agent of Wagner, has denied any contact with Palmeiras.
"I am not aware of anything. Last year, he was in demand for Brazilian clubs, but nothing from Palmeiras," said the man responsible for Wagner's future.
"Wagner is happy, he has four-years and a half on his contract. He is enjoying life in Turkey.
"I'm not saying it's impossible (that he returns to Brazil), but no-one ever considered Palmeiras. I know nothing on this."
