Despite the 19-year old denying he has agreed a move to Real Madrid, it is well known he has already had a medical with the Spanish Giants as revealed by Sambafoot last night.

Santos head coach Muricy Ramalho has praised the talent after his performance against Sao Paulo rivals Corinthians in the 3-1 win.

Ramalho said: “He does not complain. He feels nothing and to me, he is an outstanding player. When I select the team the other day, he already wants to play. It is remarkable.”

There was a worry in the game though as Neymar went down due to a bad challenge, but the club has now confirmed, the injury is not serious. He has substituted as a precaution and he was able to watch his team-mates seal the vital win.

Despite the news he is leaving the club and the Brazilian Campeonato, it is believed that he won’t move to Spain until next summer so he will be able to take part in the Club World Cup and Santos’ anniversary celebrations.
