Sources in Italy reported recently that the deal was done, but now Jonathan’s agent Jeiki Tadic has revealed that although the two clubs are in talks, nothing has yet been confirmed.
“We are talking but the talks are not finished yet,” Tadic told Lancenet. “We are still in negotiations. We will have news next week.
“Inter are one of the biggest clubs in the world and Jonathan has always played in big clubs. To play for Inter would be a pleasure for him,” he added.
Gazzetta dello Sport earlier claimed that a €5.5million deal had been completed, with the 25-year-old speculated to be a replacement for the possibly outgoing Maicon.
