Complaining? It’s not something you will hear out of David Luiz, the young Chelsea defender and member of the Brazilian national team.
Playing with one of Europe’s biggest clubs, Chelsea, enjoying a happy with life in Britain and regularly called up to the Selecao Mano Menezes, David Luiz is all smiles.
The defender won’t be satisfied at having lost his place in the first team since the last game against Scotland. David Luiz had been the first choice next to Thiago Silva, but since Lucio returned to the team, Luiz has trained with the reserves.
He could also complain of fatigue, as he played an entire season, and is still working now and probably will for the Copa America, but that’s not what happens inside the head of the big-haired defender:
“It’s a unique moment, which I enjoy. There have been many games, and I am tired, but we have more chance if the squad is motivated.”
