To become a member of the Sambafoot Community allows you to benefit from numerous advantages, but also to support the the site, contribute to its user interface and ensure its sustainability. It is to participate in the sharing of Brazilian football worldwide.

The advantages of creating an account:
- Win prizes each month for the best contributor to Sambafoot
- Participate in the forums and discuss your favourite players and clubs
- Communicate with other community members
- Update the technical cards of the top clubs, players and coaches
- Vote for players, clubs and matches in Brazil
- Comment on the news and updates that Sambafoot features

The most active contributors will be linked on the front page of the site. A weekly, monthly and annual classification will be place on the homepage of Sambafoot.com. At the start of every month, the most active contributor will be announced on the Sambafoot forum and a Brazilian football prize will be sent to them.

The following criteria will be used for the awarding of Sambapoints:
- A post on the forum: 1 point
- An accepted request to modify a technical card: 5 points
- A vote for player, club or match: 2 points / week (Even if you vote 100 times in a week, you will only win two points)
- A comment on a news post: 3 points.

If a comment in the forum or on a news item require modification, the points will be automatically withdrawn.

How to participate?
- Start to browse the pages of your favourite clubs, players and coaches and choose the option to modify the page
- Click the stars to add a note to your favourite players or matches
- Join the forum and discuss any aspect of Brazilian football. Do not hesitate to create a topic
- Follow Sambafoot news stories and comment on them
- Follow the evolution of your points total daily from the Sambafoot homepage
- Take part in the Sambafoot Community topic to discuss with others any ideas for improvement, modifications or any other remarks

The Sambafoot Brazilian football community opens this Sunday, 1st January 2012.

The new year has already started in earnest for Sambafoot and fans of Brazilian football. The Sambafoot community opened this morning, on 1st January, with the objective of forming the first Brazilian football community in time for the World Cup 2014.

What are the advantages for participating users?

The principle is based on fans' commitment and contribution within the group.

As an incentive, Sambafoot will reward the best contributor each month with unique 'Brazilian football' prizes.

To be designated the best contributor, the member must participate to the sustainability of the site through comments on the forum or news articles, votes for the best players or teams and requests to modify the database of players, clubs, coaches and stadiums.

The best contributors will be displayed on the homepage of our site sambafoot.com across the four interfaces. Each month, prizes will then be announced on the forum.
