With just two rounds to go in the Saudi Pro League, the title race looks more indecisive than ever. This year, the fate of the Saudi championship is uncertain, with two top contenders in a fierce fight for crowning glory: the fearsome Al Nassr of Anderson Talisca, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luiz Gustavo, as well as the plucky Al Ittihad, leader of the classification only three points ahead of its rival.

On Matchday 28, Al Nassr once again showed their determination by picking up a crucial victory against Al Shabab to stay in the title chase. And it was thanks to Talisca’s influence that they were able to win this battle 3-2.

Talisca reaches 17 goals this season

After a brace from Cristian Guanca put the rival ahead on the scoreboard, the Brazilian playmaker converted his team’s first goal at 44′ to lead the comeback. Later on, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Ronaldo did the same to seal an important victory, in which Luiz Gustavo also stood out in the middle.

In this way, Talisca reached 17 goals in the season. A figure that attests to his talent and, above all, his impact within the team. Meanwhile, Al Nassr is excited to be champion of Saudi Arabia, an honor that has eluded him for four years.
