The stage for the World Cup 2022 on the European scene has been set and 55 sides have known their fate on the journey to the competition.

European sides have done pretty well in the competition of recent and they boast a certain pride in the World Cup

and FIFA rankings as well. Spain won in South Africa 2010, Germany in Brazil 2014 and France who won the latest at Russia in 2018.

There is quite a possibility that the trend could continue in Qatar in 2022, with most European countries boasting talent and 10 of them currently sitting in the top 14 ranked sides by FIFA, including top ranked Belgium.

Qualification groups for the 2022 World Cup and the fixture dates for each game week as been set:
