The contract is for 20 years and will span a total amount of R $ 300 million across the duration of the deal. As per the Corinthians official website, the stadium is renamed Neo Química Arena and will also be used for shows and musical shows. However, football will remain the priority as always.

The announcement of the partnership was the major talking point as the club celebrated their 110th anniversary as one of the most successful sides in Brazilian football. 

The announcement was made by President Andrés Sanchez and Breno Oliveira, CEO of Hypera. The president expressed how pleased he was to secure a deal which help’s the club’s brand and also in a financial sense.

The stadium which was inaugurated in 2014 is now set to get even more patronage and relevance, something that has been clamored for by the Corinthians faithful. 

Corinthians and new partner Neo Química held a launch event on the evening with lots of music, fireworks and even a guest performance by actor Dan Stulbach. 

Corinthians will return to the pitch tomorrow when they take on Goias in the seventh round of the Brasileirão.
