As per the schedule, the first of the two-legged matches will take place on Wednesday, the 11th of November.

The second leg will take place one week later on the 18th of November 

Of course, some interesting ties lie in wait and at this stage, one can’t exactly predict what will become of the competition or who would go on to win it. However, a few have deemed Internacional the likely favorites to go all the way and lift the crown. We’ll just have to see how that plays out over the coming weeks. 

Here are the confirmed games and their respective dates and venues for the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals. 

First leg of the tie – November 11: 

16h30 – Palmeiras x Ceará – Allianz Parque 

19h – Cuiabá x Grêmio – Arena Pantanal 

21h30 – Flamengo x São Paulo – Maracanã 

21h30 – Inter x América-MG – Beira-Rio 

Return Leg– Wednesday – November 18: 

16h30 – Grêmio x Cuiabá – Arena do Grêmio 

19h – Ceará x Palmeiras – Castelão 

21h30 – São Paulo x Flamengo – Morumbi 

21h30 – América-MG x Internacional – Independence 

Eight clubs will continue to dream of the Copa do Brasil titleAsides the lure of a trophy, all eight teams are on course for decent cash injections. The eight qualified teams will win R $ 3.3 million in prize money with their place in the quarterfinals. Those who advance to the semifinals will take another R $ 7 million. Then, the runner-up pockets another R $ 22 million, while the champion earns R $ 54 million.
