Brazilian forward Carlos Vinicius continues his impressive form for Tottenham in the Europa League.

The 25-year-old has struggled for minutes in the Premier League and has mostly featured in cup competitions under Jose Mourinho.

On loan from Benfica, Vinicius has done justice to the chances afforded to him in the FA Cup and Europa League.

In his latest outing for Spurs, the Brazilian bagged a brace in their 4-0 win over Austrian side Wolfsberger.

Dele Alli opened the scoring with a brilliant overhead kick just 10 minutes into the game.

Vinicius was uneventful in the first half but got busy in the second half and scored his first of the night in the 50th minute. He scored a pin-point header following a cross from Dele Alli who also impressed by far on the evening.

Gareth Bale then put the game beyond doubt for Spurs before Vinicius wrapped it up with a fourth goal seven minutes from time.

The Brazilian now has six goals from seven Europa League appearances for Tottenham and is up to nine goals from 19 appearances across all competitions.

He continues to see his stock rise since the beginning of last season and it’s no surprise he was also nominated for the Samba Gold award and is in the running to win it as well.

The only competition Vinicius is yet to score for Tottenham is the Premier League. It is understandable given that he has only cameos that amass to 158 minutes across six total appearances.

Given how he continues to impress when he’s called upon, it’s only a matter of time before Mourinho gives him a more regular run for league action.
