It took just 55 seconds into this contest for hope to starts intersecting with brutal reality.

A goal down to the rampaging Kylian Mbappe with barely a minute on the clock and Celtic’s fans must have been fearing the very worst.

Neymar has always been a dangerous opposition in the past when Les Parisiens faced Celtic and he continued that feat as well.

In the team’s 4-0 win over Celtic FC, Neymar carried the momentum from the previous two friendly contests as he scored yet another goal.

It was a signature goal from Les Parisiens as the team worked its way into the final third with quick passing sequences and off-ball movements. This such sequence was capped off with the Brazilian scoring off of a deflection. But a goal is a goal and this score put PSG up 2-0.

Herrera and Sarabia added a goal each in the second half to complete three friendly wins out of three ahead of their Champions League games.

Mbappe made the headlines after the game as he spoke of his future at the club, insisting he has plans to remain in France.

“I’m here. I am in the project for a fourth year,” Mbappe told beIN SPORTS on Tuesday.

“The 50th year of the club is an important year for the club, the supporters, everyone, so I will be there no matter what.

“I will try to bring back trophies with the team and give the best of myself.”

PSG have so far shown no rustiness in form since the restart and Thomas Tuchel would be pleased with the intensity his side has displayed on the pitch in their recent outings.
