Richarlison relishing opportunity under Carlo Ancelotti
Everton forward Richarlison says he is enjoying playing under Toffees boss Carl Ancelotti. The Italian was appointed in December.
Ancelotti replaced Richarlison’s confidant Marco Silva who took the player to England with Watford, before joining Silva at Goodison Park.
“I believe that we always have room to improve, regardless of the level we reach in the game,” Richarlison told evertonfc.com.
“I am only 23 and just starting my career. I have a lot to learn, especially in a team with so many good players and a tremendous coach.
“I want to take this opportunity to be the best player possible in every aspect. I believe I am coming into the peak years of my career.
“Although I am still young, I think at this age we are at the peak of our physical shape and that is when the great players really start to burn bright.
“I hope that my birthday and this new cycle of my life bring me many good things and that I can always grow and stand out with my club.”
