Pereira Pleads for Pogba Stay
Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has pleaded for Paul Pogba to stay at the club. The French midfielder has made his desire to move public.
Pereira would likely benefit from Pogba’s exit as space could open up in United’s midfield, but the Brazilian is keen to learn more from the Frenchman.
““It is great [to train and play with him] – just in the group he is a great person,” said Pereira ahead of United’s International Champions Cup (ICC) game against Inter Milan in Singapore on Saturday.
“It will be very important if he stays with us. He is a very good player and top class as a person as well.
“I learn from him everyday. He is one of my closest friends, I have been here with him since 16, so he is like family to me. I might have to steal his phone so he doesn’t speak to anyone!”
