The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) released a statement on Thursday evening following speculation over the future of Tite.

Reports emerged during Thursday that Tite was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the CBF following the departures of Sylvinho and Edu Gaspar.

Sylvinho left Brazil’s coaching staff to join Lyon this summer, while Edu Gaspar will be appointed as Arsenal’s Technical Director after the Copa América.

Brazil play Peru in the Copa América final on Sunday and UOL Esporte were reporting that Tite might consider resigning after the game.

The CBF released a short statement on Thursday evening in an attempt to quell speculation over his future.

“The Brazilian Football Confederation expresses its confidence in the work of the Technical Committee of the Brazilian National Team. And it reaffirms that it will be maintained on a permanent basis.”
