The CBF have announced that Brazil will play friendlies against Peru and Colombia in the USA in September.

On 6 th September, they will face CONMEBOL rivals Colombia in the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Then on 10 th September, they will play Peru in Los Angeles at the Memorial Coliseum, which has a capacity of 78,000. Peru are also the Seleção’s next opponents in the Copa América.

The pair play one another in the final match of Group A at the Corinthians Arena in São Paulo on Saturday afternoon.

Brazil have been criticised for creating a distance with their fan base in their home country due to their insistence on playing friendlies in other countries.

The Copa América has suffered from poor ticket sales due to high admission prices and a disconnect that has grown between Brazilians and the Seleção.
