Tite says that Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior could still feature in his Copa América plans, despite missing the March friendlies with an ankle injury.

The 18-year old remains uncapped with no other chance to impress in a Seleção shirt before the squad for Copa América is announced.

But speaking after Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Panama on Saturday, Tite says the door is not closed on Vinicius for the tournament.

“Taking advantage of the question about the characteristics of Vinicius and our idea of football, it's to have these players that unbalance the rival," he said.

"Players who make individual moves, dribbles, to break the opponent's defence. Vinicius has this characteristic, David Neres has this characteristic.”

A below par Brazil drew 1-1 with Panama in Porto on Saturday and face Czech Republic in Prague this evening.
