Dani Alves has returned to the international setup for the first time since last year’s World Cup after being drafted in to replace Real Madrid’s Danilo.
Dunga says Dani Alves will add personality and experience to the Brazil squad at this month’s Copa América. Dunga believes his versatility will be a huge boost for his squad which has suffered a number of injuries over the last two weeks. Dunga said: “He has worked with me at another Copa America. He is an experienced player, he won the Champions League, has great personality and is versatile. Another one of his positive attributes is his skill with set pieces. We had some opportunities to make substitutions against Honduras and will have more at Copa America. To have a specialist player in his role is very important.”
