Roma are weighing up a move for Grêmio owned forward Marcelo Moreno, according to reports.

Respected Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Bolivia international, who has spent the season on loan at Cruzeiro, will be considered as a potential recruit for the January transfer window.

Moreno has netted 14 goals in 28 appearances for Cruzeiro this term, but despite being the second top scorer in the Brasileirão – Henrique has 15 – Grêmio are believed to be willing to sell him for around €3 million.

With such an attractive price tag, Roma’s reported interested in the 27 year-old is unsurprising and with Mattia Destro the only traditional centre forward currently at the club, Moreno would be a welcome addition for Head Coach Rudi Garcia.
