Brazilian forward Stênio Júnior believes FK Pelister can win the Macedonian First League.

Dragan Bočeski’s side are currently 4th in the table, two points adrift of leaders FK Metalurg Skopje.

Júnior insists The Green and Whites are capable of closing the gap.

“For now we, the players, are still only dreaming of winning the league, but we are ready to take every chance we get to make this dream become a reality,” he told UEFA.com. “Let’s wait and talk again when the campaign has finished.”

The 22 year-old, who is the only Brazilian currently playing in Macedonia, arrived from Bulgarian side Litex Lovech in the summer. He believes his decision to move has been proven correct.

“I am happy to have come to a team filled mostly with young but very talented and professional players, who all helped me adapt very quickly to the new environment. I am convinced that together we can achieve great things this season.

“For now we are playing good football and I think we are on the right path.”

Júnior started his career with Horizonte. He joined FK Pelister in June.
