Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Júlio César has admitted that he would have “no problem” remaining at the club this season.

The Brazil international has been strongly linked with moves to Fiorentina, Arsenal, Villarreal and Napoli ever since QPR were relegated from the Premier League last term.

And despite reports suggesting he will definitely leave Loftus Road this summer, the 33-year-old has claimed he would be happy to stay.

“I have two weeks to define my future,” he is quoted as saying by Football Italia.

“But I have not decided anything yet.

“If I were to stay at QPR though, it would not be a problem.”

It had been reported that César was set to join Fiorentina after the Gunners abandoned negotiations but his agent denied that deal.

The former Inter shot-stopper has been Luiz Felipe Scolar’s first choice for the No.1 Brazil jersey since he returned as coach.

But it will be a very important season for César, who only joined QPR last summer, with the 2014 World Cup in Brazil on the horizon.
