Wolfsburg’s Naldo believes that the team is stronger than ever despite a shaky preseason and says they are ready for the upcoming Bundesliga campaign.
The German side only managed one win in five friendlies and with the opening game of the league fast approaching, there are concerns over their form.
“The game in Bruges was an important indication for me. Since we have achieved over long distances the level that we want,” Naldo told reporters.
“Since we are almost at 100 percent. But we still have a little time to improve the little things. Dieter Hecking has spent eight months here, and he shows that he is a good coach. He corrected our mistakes.
“So I think that we can attack from the start of the season. Against Karlsruhe in the cup and on the first day in Hannover, it is not easy. But if we win there twice, we have self-confidence.”
