According to FC Barcelona full-back Dani Alves, international team-mate Neymar already has an agreement to join the club after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The future of Neymar, 21, has been debated for some time and an agreement has previously been mooted among the Catalan media, although it was later denied by the Brazilian and his Santos employers.

His countryman Alves, though, insists that an agreement is in place, although he would like to see his potential colleague arrive this summer to prepare for his coming challenges.

"He [Neymar] knows the situation and the agreement he has, which is to come here later on," the right-back told Mundo Deportivo.

"But, if I were him, I would come now to improve his tactical game in order to arrive at the 2014 World Cup in good shape. Apart from this, he would be arriving at a team that"s well suited to his abilities.

"I have told him everything. He already knows what we have here because he has already got me to pass on all the details. However, I cannot pick him up and bring him here. If not, I would have done. It"s his decision."

Neymar currently has a contract with Santos until June 2014, with Manchester City also reportedly looking to sign the young forward.
