Brazil coach Mano Menezes believes recently recalled Kaká is able to play alongside Chelsea midfielder Oscar, which he will try for at least one of the Seleção’s upcoming friendlies.

The national side take on Japan in Sweden on 11 October, before facing Iraq in Poland, four days later, as part of the Brazil World Tour.

Menezes has argued that despite Kaká and Oscar’s similarities, the two will be able to play alongside each other as the Real Madrid man has slightly changed his game.

He said: “Kaká is beginning to reinvent himself as a footballer and he needs to find another way to play at a high level.

“He has been training and working in a slightly more advanced position in the field, which is not exactly the same role as Oscar is doing for the Seleção.

“I will probably go with the two together in at least one of two games.”

This will be a great opportunity for Oscar, who has been likened to Kaká on many occasions, as he revealed that the experienced Brazilian was his idol whilst growing up.
