“I have two regrets in my career: how I left Real Madrid and how I left Santos. I don’t regret that I left but the way everything was,” he said to Folha. “At Santos, things could have taken a different course but not in Madrid. But it is all over now. Everything serves to add to your experience.”
Robinho left Real Madrid in the summer of 2008 after feeling unwanted by the Spanish team. He went to Manchester City and even though he doesn’t regret leaving the spanish side he regrets the way it happened. After an unnoticed stay in the Premier League, he went to Italy and AC Milan where he is still playing.
