Hi everybody!
I just wanna ask a few questions about Ronaldinho's brother...Roberto Assis.
I know that Assis is Ronaldinho's agent.
But does he represent any other players?Maybe talented Brazilian players...If the answer is ''yes'',can you tell me the full names of these players?
P.S:If you are wondering why am I asking this...just have a look below...
My favourite Greek team is Aris FC.( www.arisfc.gr )Last month the team's board announced a commercial deal with Ronaldinho. The contracts were signed by the board and Roberto Assis.According to the deal...
1)Aris is the only team which has the advantage to represent Ronaldinho in Greece.
2)Ronaldinho has an option to buy the football team in the future.
3)Ronaldinho is obliged to visit Greece once every year,in order to participate in the presentation of the team and its official sponsors.
4)Roberto Assis may bring to the club young and talented Brazilian players.Up to 5 players every 2 years. These players must be betwwen 20 and 25 years old and should have participations with the Brazilian National team or the under 21's team.
5)Ronaldinho is obliged to bring to the club one big sponsor every 2 years.
Below I put some links with pictures showing the Aris board with Roberto Assis, when he came in Greece in order to sign the contracts.

And the next link is from the official Ronaldinho's blog, where he mentioned Aris and he wished good luck to the following game.(we won 3-1!)

Thanks in advance!Hope to get an answer soon.
And good luck to the Brazilian national football team!

Hi Batman ![]()
I dont believe that Roberto Assis represents any other players (looking after Ronaldinho must be a full time job!) however maybe he has contacts in Brazil who might help him scout and expand the empire.
I had never heard of this partnership (until now) but it sounds exciting for Aris FC. Can you tell us a little about the club; location, history, what they have won etc....?
thanks

In a café in the Votsi district on the 25th of March 1914, a company of 22 people decided to establish a club. The first dilemma they faced concerned its name. Its founders opted for a name that was divine, full of grandeur and majesty, a name that would inspire awe. Thus begun the history of ARIS, who soon begun to dominate football in Thessaloniki and became one of the most powerful football clubs in Greece. The actualization of this idea came 5 months later, in August 1914. The team soon became very popular in Thessaloniki, who saw in ARIS a powerful and healthy club that possessed all the qualities necessary to exploit the athletic ideal and promote, all around Greece, not only itself but Thessaloniki in general.
ARIS never ceased to be the true one and only king of Northern Greek. Imposing and powerful, he was always the Olympiad God of Greek football, a god whose temple, Charilaou, has the capacity for more than 20.000 worshipers.
The emblem of the team is the god of war resting, always on guard to fight if necessary. The colors of the team are yellow and black, reminiscent of Byzantium, where Thessaloniki has always been the second most important city of the Empire.
ARIS premiered on 25th of March 1914 and was destined to become one of the biggest and most historic teams of the country.
The date, 25th of March, the founders chose has a very special historic connotation for Greece and Orthodoxy as it is the date of the Greek revolution against the Turks. It inspired some of these courageous and visionary youngsters from the just liberated Thessaloniki, to make their very own personal “revolution”, to establish a team that would assume a leading role in Greek football, a team compatible with their own winning attitude, at an age when their blood was running “boiling hot in their veins”.
This fine founding company that was gathered together in a café in the Votsi district gave a name to its vision worthy of its own ideology and goals.
Thus became ARIS! With a name taken from Greek mythology, honoring the god of war, the new team begun its course in Greek football history.
The spark of the founders turned to fire and the fire to a burning inferno! ARIS became a club that wrote, and continues to write, its own distinct history, a club worshiped by thousands, making it something that exceeds mere club preference.
75 “HEADLINES” IN ARIS’ HISTORY

15 June 1969
ARIS completes his engagements for the First National Greek Division beating Veria 4-2 in Charilaou. He ends up in the third place, becoming the first team from Northern Greece to “infiltrate” the famous P.O.K., since 1959 when the First National Division was founded. It is obvious that the standing qualified him to play in a pan-European Cup for the 5th time (Exhibitions Cup – UEFA).
28 June 1970
In the fifth Greek Cup final he participated, ARIS beats PAOK 1-0 in Kaftatzoglio and wins the trophy, thereby qualifying for the 6th time to play in a pan-European Cup (Exhibitions Cup – UEFA).
16 September 1970
More than 50.000 supporters of ARIS were present in the match against Chelsea at Kaftatzoglio (42.103 tickets were sold, while newspaper articles write about 60.000 people being present) setting the record for a home match for the “yellows”. The supporters cheered on as their team managed to get a draw against the English Cup holders.
4 June 1972
Referee Zlatanos starred in this, the biggest injustice done against ARIS in his home grounds (Charilaou) during the Greek Cup quarterfinals. The match was terminated on the 88th minute, due to riots, and was awarded to PAOK.
17 May 1978
By beating ARIS 0-1 in overtime, PAOK deprives him of the chance to qualify for the final of the Greek Cup. This is probably the most obvious case of the … unwritten law of football: while ARIS was better than PAOK for most of the match, playing him like a cat plays with a mouse, PAOK managed to squeeze through to the final.
11 March 1979
Charilaou living moments of unprecedented glory (with 27.000 tickets sold) in ARIS victory over AEK (2-1).
25 March 1979
Charilaou was completely sold-out (27.000 tickets were sold) in ARIS’ victory over PAOK (1-0).
18 April 1979
The most thrilling disqualification of ARIS from the Greek Cup in the double match stage. Although he had beaten Panionios 5-2(!) in Charilaou at the first match, he lost 5-1 (!!) away in Nea Smirni 35 days later and was thus disqualified. Panionios went on to the next stage and won the trophy (!).
3 June 1979
At the end of his engagements ARIS diminishes Kastoria, beating it 7-2. With this result ARIS sets an tremendous record, winning all 17 matches played at home during a single season and qualifying for the UEFA Cup for the 8th time.
3 October 1979
The “sweetest” defeat in ARIS’ history. He was beaten by Benfica (2-1) in Lisbon but managed to qualify to the next round of UEFA Cup.

The football team has achieved 4 national trophies.3 Greek championships and one Greek cup.Unfortunately and due to many financial and administrative problems the team was degraded last year to the second national division.
But after a terrible, for the fans, year in the second division, the team managed to return to its natural position, the first national division.

New message from Ronaldinho about Aris FC!!!
Agora tudo é Copa do Mundo.
Queria aproveitar esse espaço para mandar um abraço para o pessoal do Aris,da Grécia, que conseguiu subir para a primeira divisão.
Parabéns para o presidente, comissão técnica, jogadores e torcedores do Aris”.
