I believe the Copa america 2011 will be a race between Brazil and Argentina - with light advantage for Argentina. They didn't call up the best players but a functional team. With a superb Lionel Messi who is able to put the difference in a game.
For me it's interesting so see how the other countries do their presentation. But in my opinion they've no chance for a higher place.
Uruguay may be the third choice. And runners up will be Paraguay.
But a final is named Argentina vs. Brazil.
For the Brazilians is more important to find and lay the foundations for the right eleven.
With this enormous number of formidable players it might not be a problem.
But the main problem is to form just the right eleven players on the field.

At moment there are only some players on first choice: Julio Cesar, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Andre Santos, Lucas, Ramires, Robinho and Neymar.
Sure are players like Luisao, David Luiz, Maicon and Sandro.
But what about with Alex (the Chelsea-defender), Cris (with many experience), Kaka, Fred, Nilmar and so on?

here i cum guys all the way 4rm lesotho. i think brazil has the slightest chance of winning it, argentina has no chance at all despite playing in the backyard, a bunch of offensive players with a very sluggish defence. im also afraid of uruguay nd paraguay dangerous sides i shld say. in relation to the selection, im vry perplexed just 2 say the least, the incluction of fred, adriano, robihno,nd jadson @ the expense of more capable nd consistently performing Damio, Marcelo, Hulk, and Douglas Costa.

i shld confess outrightly dt im nt a fan of robihno the guy is highly overated and lacks commited no wonder why has nt settled in any team he has played for. I stand 2 be corrected bcs i hv never watched his game while stil playing for santos bt based on wht i hv witnessd thus far the guy is nt in any case special infact his talent is nt rare as compared 2 to the guys like neymar and hulk. it was my fervent belief that, there ws going 2 b a gradual intergration of many young players leading up to 2014. i remember telling my friend who is an ardent supporter of spanish national team that he shld expect the likes of douglas costa, hulk, diego alves, the da silva twins and the likes in wht ar termed 'Project 2014'.To my great suprise,to find that mano is still sticking 2 the old guns. actually, im nt projecting for the total overhaul of the squad bt i belive he should have included only one player from the South African 2010 failures in each position respectively. Why Lucio and Lusuao @ the same tym, Maicon and Alves, Elano nd Ramirez.

What did you think about the game against Venezuela? For me, Brazil do not have to play with 3 forwards.
I would like to see the folllowing lineup against Paraguay:

Julio César - Daniel Alves, Lucio, Thiago Silva, André Santos - Lucas Leiva, Sandro, Elano, Ganso - Neymar, Pato

I think they'll keep the same team. I think Paraguay will be easier to play against than Venezuela, as they will look to play football rather than just defend. Robinho really needs to improve, as he is the only attacking player with genuine big-game experience.
